The application area of our Ball Valves is starting, when standard valves or
valves of other design cannot meet the technical requirement. Since 1982,
the engineers from LAV are specialized in this field.

We produce and design these Ball Valves in a variety of materials, enabling these to
integrate completely into process appllications, where throttling, controlling
and/or just closing are involved.

The nominal size range is from DN 25 (1") up to and including DN
400 (16") with full, unrestricted bores, and we cover the pressure
ratings PN 10 up to PN 40 i.e. ANSI 150 up
to ANSI 300. We cover working temperatures as from - 200° C up to +
600° C (+ 1000° C).
Standard valves cover a nominal temperature range from -20° C up to + 200° C.

We
design and produce special purpose Ball Valves according to customers
request.

Depending on the area of application we use the following materials:
Carbon and Stainless Steel Inconel®
Incoloy® Nickel Hastelloy®
Monel®.

If requested, our Ball Valves can be supplied with cooling, or heating jackets. |

Processing various media
Our special purpose Ball Valves are applied in
three categories. These are the processing of solid, liquid or gasform media.

In the area of gas and liquid, normally
these are special purpose fluids with highly corrossive nature. The industrial areas are:
Power Plants Chemical Plants Petrochemical
Plants Pharmacy
Process Industry Sewage
Purification Plant Metallurgical Plants Processing Industry Steel
Plants

The processing of solid
particles can be an integrated part of processing gas and
liquid fluids. In processing solids, gas (normally air) is used as transport medium.
The LAV Ball Valves are particularly suitable
in processing the following solid media, which are highly
abrasive:
Ash Coal Dust Cement Sewage Sludge Lime Limestone
Powder
Kryolith
Clinker-Deaf
Argillaceous Earth Rezi Lime Coke Rutil Ash Rutil
Cinder
Sinter
Silicon Firelime Crushed
Bath Aluminia Aluminium Scrap Iron
Ready-mix Mortar Limestone
Filler Sponge Iron, etc. |
